Happy B-day Mr. Joyce!

James Joyce, the beloved Irish novelist who was noted for his experimental use of language in such works as Ulysses and Finnegans Wake. Joyce's brilliant innovations in the art of the novel writing include the extensive use of interior monologue. A narrative in which he used a convoluted net of symbolic parallels drawn from the mythology, history, and literature. Joyce created a unique language of invented words, puns, and allusions that speak directly to my soul.

James Joyce was born in Dublin, on February 2, 1882.
